The Global Academy is a educational consortium providing accelerated, advanced, career focused coursework to students from throughout the consortium. In the fall of 2010 the Academy launches with its offering of the Project Lead the Way Biomedical Sciences. Current participating districts include Belleville, Madison, McFarland, Middleton/Cross Plains, Mt Horeb, Oregon, Verona and Wisconsin Heights. Students attend their home school for at least half of the day and remain affiliated with their home school in terms of extra-curricular activities and athletics.

The future course strands offered by the Academy have now been determined for the coming year.
